Lisa Tolley’s illustrations

Local artist and illustrator, Lisa Tolley, has a distinctive and instantly recognisable style and approach. She first got involved with Queen’s Promenade Friends in 2019 when she popped along and gifted us with illustrations of some of our volunteers.

Pocket Park Discoveries

She then created a series of illustrations called Pocket Park Discoveries and we had a simultaneous opening with an online gallery on Instagram and an open air one in the Pocket Park on the Prom.

We also unveiled a beautiful illustration of the Pocket Park and the River View Garden for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Saturday 4 June 2022 – and Lisa was in attendance too.

Promtastic!

It was only right that we commission Lisa to create our Promtastic! poster and the map of the gardens too.

Lisa says “What started as a quick chat became an illustrative journey of the QPF volunteers as they transformed Queen’s Promenade. Visit today to see it in its full glory.”
