Queen’s Promenade Friends volunteers have worked tirelessly on improving the riverside promenade between Surbiton and Kingston. To celebrate our 4th birthday, we are organising Promtastic! – A celebration of a Prom to be Proud of – to introduce our new projects: our specially commissioned mural from Ninety-Five Prints, the Sensory Garden, Raven’s View Garden and the Julian Meers Italian Garden (named after our Founder).
Join us for a Walk and Talk on Sunday 25 June 14:30, meeting at Westfield Landing, KT6 4JA (near Grove Rd). The volunteers will guide you through their six gardens and tell you about what they have recovered and restored. As you walk, enjoy the festival of sunflowers that members of the community have grown from seed. We will also be joined by Tim Harrison, Editor of The Good Life who will tell some fascinating tales about the history of the Prom.
Bring a picnic and enjoy a Prom to be Proud of!
Thank you to Lisa Tolley for creating our promotional poster.
